At Total Tools, we think that ideas may become reality with the help of tools. Empowered women in the trades are a growing force shattering stereotypes and changing the landscape in the field where innovation and craftsmanship meet. These talented people are not just guiding change; they are passionately building, mending, and creating regardless of gender. This blog honors the remarkable contributions made by women in the trades, showcasing their successes, difficulties encountered, and motivational tales that open doors to a more diverse and inclusive sector.

Breaking Stereotypes: Embracing Gender Equality

Total Tools is dedicated to creating an environment at work that supports gender parity. It is not just on International Women's Day that we acknowledge and honor the political, social, and cultural accomplishments of women; we do this every day. Our commitment to developing female talent is solid, and we strive to offer fair opportunities where each person may feel free to be who they truly are at work.

The trades have historically been perceived as a field dominated by males. But times are changing, and more and more women are securing positions in fields that call for technical proficiency, inventiveness, and a strong work ethic. Breaking from past prejudices and demonstrating that tools have no gender, she builds, fixes, and creates.

Empowering Women in the Trades

It takes more than just encouraging women to use wrenches and heavy machinery to empower them in the trades. It entails establishing an atmosphere that promotes diversity and recognizes women as vital contributors as well as welcoming guests. At Total Tools, we're dedicated to giving women in the trades the tools, encouragement, and platform they need to succeed.

Challenges and Opportunities

Even while there is improvement, prejudice, preconceptions, and a lack of representation continue to be obstacles for women’s trades. To address these problems, society, educational institutions, and business must work together. At Total Tools, we see these obstacles as chances to build a more diverse future in which tradespeople of all genders can prosper.

Bridging the Gap

Total Tools is dedicated to closing the gender gap in the trades as a top supplier of tools and equipment. We actively promote programs that inspire women to enter fields that have historically been dominated by men. Our wide selection of excellent instruments is made for everyone, enabling both men and women to realize their ideas.

In the realm of trades, women are making a lasting impact on a sector that is improving: they construct, repair, and produce. At Total Tools, we are proud of these amazing women's accomplishments and promise to keep encouraging and empowering them. Trade's future is broad, inclusive, and driven by the enthusiasm and knowledge of people who are not limited by their gender.

International Women's Day (IWD) draws near on March 8

Here at Total Tools, we firmly think that openness and diversity have great power. We're thrilled to participate in the worldwide celebration of women's accomplishments and contributions as International Women's Day (IWD) draws near on March 8. The topic for this year's International Women's Day campaign is "Inspire Inclusion," and we are pleased to announce our partnership with Tradeswomen Australia, a non-profit organization whose mission is to increase the number of women in skilled trade professions. Abby Kempe, the Major Projects and Partnerships Manager of Tradeswomen Australia, will be our guest speaker at this unique event. Please join us.

About Australia's Tradeswomen:

The Tradeswomen Australia Group is leading the effort to advance gender parity in the trades. As a nonprofit, their two main goals are as follows:

  1. Collaborating with Employers: Tradeswomen Australia works in tandem with employers to establish inclusive and culturally safe work environments. They help to create workplaces where diversity is appreciated, and everyone feels welcome by collaborating closely with businesses.
  2. Educating, Supporting, and Mentoring: The organization's mission is to provide girls and women who are interested in non-traditional trades with information, assistance, and mentoring. They remove obstacles and give people the tools they need to succeed in fields that have historically been dominated by men through a variety of programs and initiatives.
