If you don't want to pay for delivery or need to ASAP, you can pick it up in store. Just bear in mind not all stores will have everything in stock. You'll be able to see if they do during the checkout process.

If you opted to collect in store you will receive an email to inform you when your goods are ready for collection.
If you opted for delivery, you will receive an email when the goods have been despatched to the couriers with details so you can track our order.
We aim to despatch all orders within 1-2 business days. In the unusual event of a delay to the despatch of your order you will be contacted at the earliest opportunity. Once the order has been despatched the estimated delivery time is as follows:

- Hobart Metro 3-4 business days

You just need to get the product back to the store it was shipped from (this is on your receipt) within 30 days, unused and in its original packaging and we'll give you a refund (excluding delivery costs). The 40V Max XGT Brushless 270mm (10-5/8”) Circular Saw provides cordless convenience, while taking on high-demand applications. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers 3,500 RPM for high-speed cutting performance, with a large cutting capacity of 101mm at 90-degrees. The convenient guide rail compatible base interacts with optional guide rails to provide dead-on, straight or bevel cutting without the need for an adapter.
Constant speed control maintains blade speed under load for optimum cutting performance while the saw is also equipped with Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) improving the tool’s operation in harsh conditions. For increased safetythe saw features an electric brake, soft start and anti-restart and for added convenience, the saw also features Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) for wireless power-on and power-off communication between the equipped tool and compatible dust extractor.

The 40V Max 5.0Ah battery has been designed to be both tough and also highly intelligent. The higher power output enables XGT tools to be pushed even harder performing a heavy-duty continuous operation with ease. Digital communication not only between the battery and the charger but also between the tool and battery. This communication with the tool relays tool specifications to optimize tool performance. The 40V Max Single Port Rapid Charger provides fast charging for Makita high output 40V Max XGT batteries. The newly designed optimum charging system is able to achieve optimised fast charging by feeding real time battery data, such as battery condition and temperature with the charger. Dual cooling fans significantly reduce charging time as both the battery and charging circuit are cooled, allowing the charger to perform consecutive fast charges.
Ensuring users have are able to stay connected with the 18V LXT platform the DC40RA is compatible with the charging adaptor ADP10 (optional accessory). With this adaptor the DC40RA is able to rapid charge 18V LXT batteries up to 27% faster than 18V rapid charging models. Ensuring the battery spends more time working and less time sitting on the charger.
